Great Teachers Have Power
Great teachers care, have extreme patience with others, extensive knowledge of their subject and understand how to deliver their message in a way that impacts the life of others. Everyone remembers that teacher who had an impact of their life, and in some cases, changed their life. When someone teaches what they know in their head from the heart, knowledge transference occurs and lives ae changed. Being patient and taking the time to teach in a way that the student will learn is a valuable gift. If you have an amazing teacher in your life, or the life of those you love, reach out and let them know how much of a difference they have made.
Something to Think About
In a way, everyone is a student as well as a teacher at one time or another. We teach our children, and sometimes those who work for us and with us. There are also times in our life when we are being taught or mentored. As a student, what quality do you remember about your favorite teacher? As a teacher, are you patient, passionate and committed?
Weekly Activity
This week be a better teacher as well as a better student. You may also want to reach out to your local elementary schools and ask about becoming a business partner. There are tremendous opportunities there to not just support students and teachers, but to network with a community of parents as well.
