Happy Halloween!

This week children will dress up and run door-to-door shouting “Trick or Treat” and hoping for treats. It’s a fun time of the year for everyone, even adults. Yes, for the past few years, the amount of money being spent by adults on costumes, decorations and candy has steadily risen to an average of $87 per person and a record $9 billion spent on candy this year! It is rated as one of the most celebrated of holidays and adults are more engaged today than ever in the celebration of Halloween.  Why? Maybe it’s because Halloween is a time to spend with friends or go to a party, without spending hours in the kitchen preparing food or buying gifts. It’s considered to be a fun holiday, and everyone is encouraged to be a little footloose, and that’s OK. I think it’s great to have some silly fun, so let loose a little, have a party or go to a party and have some fun this week! Happy Halloween!

Something to Think About
