The Unforced Nature of Grace
The path of life is constantly changing. Patterns and comforts may fall away, causing uncertainty in that moment. You may lose something you thought you could never live without, even while you keep going. All seasons of life provide us with ample opportunity to understand the unforced nature of grace. We’re not stuck in any situation, which is something we’re reminded of as one season collapses into the next. Life is both spontaneous and cyclical. We hurt, and we heal, we build and release, and it’s all part of the same process. In the most unlikely of places, we make a real connection, find grace falling upon us, or remember what forgiveness really means. If you’re in a hurry to get THERE, may you be reminded that every single shifting season shares an inherent capacity for new life. Being able to embrace the changing seasons is about being HERE in the present. There is grace in every transition when we allow it. Resistance hinders the process. Learn the power of letting go – when you do you leave room for grace.
Something to Think About
Life really is a series of struggles, joy, adventures, doubt, new beginnings, sad goodbyes, and growth, each of which are life lessons. The secret is to look at each situation and to know the lesson.
