Show a Little Love
Valentine’s day is this week. Traditionally, a time to think of a loved one or special friend. Let’s take that up a notch. Take a little time to connect with the people in your circle who are closest to you. Send them a little love, well wishes, funny memory, or small gift or card. Consider new traditions – ones that focus on letting some of the most important people in your life know just how much they mean to you. Dinner with friends? A lunch date to catch up with someone you haven’t seen in a while? A few phone calls just to let people know you’re thinking of them? This month doesn’t have to reserved just for a significant other or spouse. It takes a village these days to live as happy and whole people. Tell your tribe they mean the world to you in as many ways as you can this month. You might surprise yourself with how uplifted you feel in the process. Enjoy!
Something to Think About
Life is all about the people we share it with. It’s a good week to step back for a few moments and pay attention to the folks that matter most. It’s easy in the hustle of our everyday lives to leave connections unattended for long stretches. Reach out.
Weekly Activity
Don’t keep all the love just for family and friends! We all have a few clients and customers who have gone the extra mile, sent the extra referrals, or were just memorable and fun and who you thoroughly enjoyed working with. Connect with them this week with a phone call, personal note, card, or even a lunch invite! You’ll be glad you did.
