The Power of Perspective

The markets are changing, and for some, that’s an immediate reason to hit the panic button. How will I adapt? What does that mean for my business? What will I tell my clients and customers? How will this affect my income? The really neat thing is that there is very real power in the perspective you take when answering those questions. Some will see them and think doom and gloom – change is awful! Others look at them and see opportunities to leverage change, grow their business, reconnect with past clients, and take their bottom line to entirely new levels. All change is filled with opportunity. Shift your vision to see what lies ahead of the current changes. Get there before the market – and your competitors do. Be the resource consumers need. When you do – extraordinary things will happen. Go for it!

Something to Think About

The old line, “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right”, fits nicely with this week’s message. Be your own best cheerleader. Look for the reasons that things will go right more than they can go wrong, and you’ll put yourself in alignment with the good stuff!

Weekly Activity

Take a few minutes to write out a hand-written note to at least five top clients who consistently send business and referrals your way and say thank you and let them know that there are some market changes on the way, and you’re available if they have any questions.
